Serendipity Corner began as a fun idea.

In 2016, with my plate already full, being a store owner was not even on my radar. The idea became a dream, the dream became a desire and the desire became a reality; rather quickly.

My great-grandfather owned and operated a grocery store in Charlotte, Michigan, long before I was born. My grandfather owned and operated a drug store in Williamston, Michigan. I grew up in his store and now I own and operate my own.

Serendipity Corner, LLC began as a very, very small part-time space in a small Michigan town. It was a way to offer some “new age” items and sell my books without spending weekends on the road, set up at craft shows and festivals.

In 2017 we moved to eastern Kentucky and Serendipity Corner, LLC moved to Mt. Sterling. We offer as many fair-trade, direct from artisan, sustainable, environmentally-friendly and ethically produced products as possible without the inflated prices many other shops typically charge.

While maintaining my full schedule and a newly opened store, adding Spirit Medium to my resume was not on my to-do list. Nevertheless, it has developed into an important service that I now love to provide. Out of Serndipity Corner, LLC, The Turtles Compass Spiritual Center was also born.
